2023 Fast Pitch Presentations
Thank you to everyone who attended our Fast Pitch presentations and the launch of our 2023 cycle. We heard from extraordinary leaders and changemakers addressing the most pressing needs in our community.
The following organizations will be moving forward in our process:
Alzheimer’s LA: A nonprofit organization dedicated to providing education, resources, and support to individuals and families affected by Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias in the Los Angeles area.
LA Food Policy Council: A community-based initiative focused on improving access to healthy, affordable, and sustainable food options for all residents of Los Angeles, with an emphasis on promoting food justice and equity.
Open Paths Counseling: A mental health nonprofit organization offering affordable counseling and therapy services to individuals, families, and children in the Los Angeles area, with a mission to provide accessible mental health care to underserved communities.
Teen Talk App: A mobile app designed to provide a safe and confidential space for teenagers to discuss mental health issues, seek support, and access resources, including peer support groups and professional counseling services.
SAM is a prominent presence in the philanthropic landscape of Los Angeles thanks to our members, our community partners California Community Foundation and Jewish Community Foundation Los Angeles.
