Volunteer Day at Alexandria House

SAM members shared a wonderful evening with the families of one of our grantees, Alexandria House. A safe haven that provides transitional housing for victims of domestic or sexual violence and their families, the “house” is actually two traditional single-family homes in Koreatown. As we prepared dinner in their beautiful kitchen and set out the buffet, we had the chance to meet, visit and dine with resident women and their adorable children. It was a special evening for everyone. We truly enjoyed spending time in the warm, loving haven of Alexandria House.
